I am sorry for the mental load this restructuring is creating. I cannot help but think that all you do in climbing peaks, running, experiementing with food and other such thoughtful and challenging adventures will serve you now. Sending love and dollops of cream for the tasteless rusk served as cake by your soon-to-be former employer. You are stronger than your worst day. xo
Thank you Linda, I face into individual consultation this week. No doubt a mental roller coaster which I’ll be glad to have behind me. It’s not fast or pretty, but the running is definitely helping. Really appreciate you taking the time.
Such a lovely travelog Alex - plus food at the sights photos! A pleasure to read, and a reminder of how much I like travel blogs. The sights, the people, the food. Plus, to clarify, are you tracking that you have now seen/hiked 90 of the 280 peaks? Is your goal 280, all of them? So fun!
Thanks Jacquie....yeah I'm trying to do all 280. The trouble is I'm running out of day trips, in the sense that I've done all the ones that are within a 2-3 hour radius. It's a great way to explore the country though.
Aaaah restructures ... I've been through a few - the most recent last September following which I opted for a (HR speak) "negotiated outcome". The uncertainly can really do your head in so views like the ones you've shown us today sure do help.

I like that term 'negotiated outcome'!
What great walks they look, and fingers crossed the future holds whatever you’d like it to
Thanks Mark, my head definitely in the space of an opportunity for positive change.
Hope that the job situation works out for you. Walking on the hills will certainly help to clear the head!
Feeling positive about moving forward and the hills definitely helped.
